Warming oatmeal bowl - topped with my fave home made quinoa granola (for that added crunch, SO good!!) raw honey & almond butter. 
For the Granola:
4 cups quinoa flakes
2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup maple syrup 
4 Tbs grated orange rind
(Mix & bake @ 350 for 20 min on non stick pan - stir half way through baking)
Once cool add:
1 cup raw hemp seeds 
1 cup coconut ribbons 
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 cup of dried mulberries, goji berries, raisins or other fruit of choice.
Place in air tight container ( I like a big jar) keeps for 1 month.

These protein pancakes have 33g of protein, NO protein powder, and only 329 calories!! 😋 Here’s the recipe💗
- 1/2 cup @preschoice quick oats, blended/grinded
- 1/2 cup @gayleafoodscoop nordica low fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup @preschoice egg whites
- 1/3 cup @preschoice wild canadian blueberries
- dash of cinnamon and baking powder.

And that’s it! Delicious pancakes in 10 minutes. You could add half a mashed banana to make them sweeter, or top them with whatever toppings you want. Recipe will make 5 pancakes :)

Lo que fue mi desayuno de hoy... 🤗👏 Avena cocida en leche de almendras, cacao sin azúcar 🍫, una cucharadita de café ☕️💕, linaza y endulzado con hojas de stevia molida 🍃 . How has your Saturday been so far?💕 I woke up early, did my meditation session, worked on my assignment for a couple of hours and then took the rest of the day off as my sister is visiting this weekend. We went out for lunch, did some shopping and sipped on a cup of my favourite lavender & fennel tea while chatting the afternoon away. Confession: I’m a reformed instant oatmeal junkie. It’s only been the last year or two that I’ve been cooking old fashioned oats on the stovetop.

Being home means quality lighting since I actually have sunlight! Now that doesn’t mean I’m changing my ways when it comes to breakfast 🙅🏻‍♀️. Oh, our mugs at home have different motivational/life sayings on them but this one happens to be my favorite. It says “trust the process” and I never could have thought that so little words could mean SO much!!

Hi lovelies, I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend so far. Today I am so excited to be sharing a new recipe. THAI INSPIRED TURMERIC HERBY WRAPS with a peanut-chilli dipping sauce. The recipe for this is on my website and the link is in my bio. I really enjoy fusing together lots of different international cuisines and this one has elements of Thai, Japanese and Indian and Italian cuisines. It’s such an adaptable recipe depending on what you’re eating and what ingredients you have at home. You can use it as soft taco shells, to dip in curries or even as a sweet variation for crepes. The great thing is that it’s also healthy—unlike overly processed wraps, they’re oil-free, and good for students who can’t finish a whole packet of wraps before they expire. I filled my wraps with plum tomatoes, red cabbage, baby spinach, carrots, tofu, avocado and sunflower seeds, as well as the sauces. What would you fill yours with? 💛

Life is good when you basically have chocolate cake for breakfast 😍 Chocolate oats topped with banana, hemp seeds, and peanut butter. This was such a yummy treat! It snowed last night and I’ve just been relaxing at home and now I’m diving into this warm and cozy goodness. The recipe is in my ebook! Link in bio.

Having this kind of meal would have freaked me out in the past. It would have caused me so much anxiety and guilt for NO GOOD REASON. Eating disorders take so much away from you, but recovery has allowed me to truly want meals like this and enjoy it to the fullest because I know it gives my body energy and so many nutrients 😌 Just a little reminder today to keep working towards recovery if you’re on that road right now. 🏡 is where the ❤️ is... first breakfast at home after a troubling drive from school (in the snowstorm❄️😩). Our car ended up breaking down late at night, mid snowstorm, and we had to scramble to call an Uber and find any nearby hotels with availability. What a trip! Anyways I am so glad to be back at home getting into routine. I slept in, enjoyed my coffee as well as this delicious, warm and cozy oatmeal bowl. Details below:

•1/2 cup of organic oats
•1/2 cup almond milk
•1/2 cup blueberries
•half of a mashed banana (save the other half for toppings)
•2 tsp chia seeds
•sprinkle of cinnamon
•Cooked on stovetop until finished
•Topped with: an organic fig + more blueberries + the other 1/2 of banana + more cinnamon + coconut flakes + pool of peanut butter🤤

My favorite combo is back... apples, cinnamon, and sunbutter! I sill can’t get enough. These past few days I’ve been using 3/4 cup of oats instead of 1/2. I’ve been super active and therefore super hungry. At one point, this would’ve really scared me. I would think I’m over eating and am going to gain weight. But now I know that if I’m hungry, my body is telling me what I need and I have to honor that. I won’t feel my best until I’m fully nourished!

🍫 Chocolate Maple Brown Oatmeal

So I haven’t gone grocery shopping all week since I have been sick so all I have been having for breakfast everyday is oatmeal...not complaining! Thought I’d switch things up today though and add some cacao powder 🤤 Happy Friday peeps!✌🏼

What’s in my bowl 🥣👇🏼
▫️1/2 cup Quick Oats (@heb)
▫️1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (@lovemysilk)
▫️1 tsp Light Brown Sugar
▫️1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup
▫️1 tsp Cacao Powder
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Combine all ingredients together in a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 1 1/2 mins - 2 mins.
Top with banana slices, sliced almonds, cacao nibs, & hemp seeds👌🏼
