Che sia una ricarica, uno "pasto libero" programmato o un'attacco di binge, può capitare a tutti di mangiare più del solito. E può trattarsi di un'intera giornata (refeed, evento particolare o, per chi li fa, un cheat day) o di un singolo pasto (cheat/free meal). . Quasi sempre, dopo un evento simile, scatta nella nostra mente quella voglia irrefrenabile di quantificare il danno fatto: ci pesiamo la mattina dopo, ansiosi, o addirittura a fine pasto! Ci vediamo allo specchio in maniera ossessiva, vedendo solo cose negative. . Ovviamente, c'è anche chi dopo un pasto più abbondante si vede meglio o addirittura nota un calo nel peso. Capita, ma è una percentuale inferiore rispetto al resto. . Cosa fare allora dopo un pasto simile? . NULLA. Non pesarsi. Non guardarsi sempre allo specchio. Non voler per forza bruciare quelle kcal ingerite. Non sentirsi in colpa o peggio pensare di aver rovinato in poche ore un percorso fatto in mesi di lavoro! . Se è una ricarica programmata o un evento particolare, goditi il cibo nella massima serenità. . Se capita di "sgarrare" in maniera incontrollata, fermati e respira. Valuta le cause che possono aver portato a quel punto e realizza che sono cose che possono capitare, non è la fine del mondo. Rialzati, con la consapevolezza che è tutto passato, e che non ricapiterà più! 😉 . E voi, come vi comportate dopo una ricarica/cheat meal/cheat day? 🍕🍦🥪

No more excuses! I have used ivf and other factors to excuse stuffing my face and have ended up shoving on the weight again. I'm not weighing myself I don't need to see numbers to know what I already feel. I'm going to keep going with  slimming world whilst sticking to around 1200 calories to try and control my eating habbits. I've also purchased a 1.2kg hula hoop after seeing @cherylhindley84 and @danisnewlifestyle amazing waists! Just learning to keep the damn thing up 😂 so I can start the daily challenges

A day with #migraine  NOT FUN AT ALL. 
Those who really suffer from this know the real deal. Have them since a little kid. Only wish that I was told how to deal with them or prevent them at a young age. Just like I would’ve loved that someone showed me the right training methods when I was a teenager.

LOG!! over the years I kept a log of things that triggered my migraines and eventually got those things out of my life: including dark chocolate and tequila. 😒

But what else helped? Kept a log of my nutrition and my training. How else would a business know if they are doing good 💰? With records !! Do you want to see progress: LOG ALL YOUR STUFF!! Compare, review, apply, repeat. 
This could be a notebook 📓, or and app.. 📱.. I like the apps. Many are free and effective. For foods I use @myfitnesspal works like a champ!! Easy and tell me my nutrition values. 
For training, I do pay for @beyondthewhiteboard subscription.. had it since 2013... love it. 
I’ll share some freebies soon when my head spins better out of this migraine. The point is: track your stuff!! It’s the only way to identify your progress and how food goes with you and your busy life.

Nobody in the world (or certainly very few) intentionally aim to be overweight or obese. Yet it has happened to more than 30% of us.  People understand why they get fat, but understanding reversal one’s body composition continues to be problematic. As does our understanding and awareness of the nutritional properties of the food and drinks we consume.

Google, social media, friends and family all suggest means to achieve fat loss. The unanimous message from such information is that one has to consume less food. And with this in mind, many attempt to reduce episodes of eating and/or food volume.

The problem with the above method is as follows: alteration of body composition is not subjective. Instead, it answers objectively to the numeric balance of energy. Therefore unmeasured reduction of meals or quantity of food in meals/snacks/drinks becomes redundant to the outcome unless the actual energy within meals/snacks/drinks consumed is accounted for. As the above example shows, reducing episodes of eating does not guarantee a calorie deficit. Here, an individual is hoping that their perception of ‘eating less’ will support the goal. The reality is that the individual is not factually aware of their nutritional consumption. The goal may or may not be supported.

Alternatively, accurate calculation of an individual’s compositional statistics, TDEE and lifestyle can factually determine the value of energy required to enter a state of caloric deficit. Once this is attained, an individual can track calorie consumption to enable adherence to said calorie target. Awareness is enhanced, knowledge is gained and perception is replaced by certain science.

I look huge.....again 😔 even more than normal but then all i have been doing is eating what i want and not tracking calories plus the horrible striped work top doesn't help in the slightest. I wish i had never developed a chocolate addiction all those years ago and that i hadn't put the weight on at all.....disappointed in myself for slipping back a bit....need to get back on track properly whether i track or not

Breakfast! Looks a bit like a slightly strange pancake I know, but it's actually a fat little omelette. 2 eggs whisked with about 20g of light cheddar and some spring onion, cooked in frylight. I've also made myself a big bottle of iced water with lemon juice to sip through the morning. I've been feeling a bit bloated and my skin has been awful for the past week, so hoping this will help. Also apparently helps curb appetite, although I'm not sure how true that is?
