After maintaining last week I decided to stay on plan 100% and it paid off 4lbs lost this week and I reached my personal target I set myself. To be back to 23st12lbs before going to Vegas on the 27th Nov, which was lightest I was when leaving @slimmingworld the last time.

- So I’ve been asked by several of our clients who follow our 10 week transformation program, which involves a personalised, calorie controlled, flexible nutrition plan, how do I know I am getting the right amount of calories and the right amount of protein on board if I’m not tracking my food, and the simple answer is- I don’t. Not 100%. - 
HOWEVER, I have pretty good knowledge when it comes to nutrition, especially my own nutrition and my own allowances and breakdowns as I’ve been tracking for several years now. I know what I need to eat on a regular basis for my specific goals and what calories are in most of the usual foods I consume and what this looks like visually on a plate. 
Because of this I am able to be really flexible with how I approach my diet. I don’t weigh any food (the ONLY food I weigh is my morning oats as I simply CANNOT ever judge this one, for love nor money. I always think it never looks enough 🧐
- 
PROTEIN wise, I know what I should be on at present, due to my current training regime, and my lifestyle. (140-150g). Again, I KNOW what this looks like on a plate, split between my meals simply down to regular monitoring and experience. I will never get it 100% right, but I never did when I was tracking anyway, as eating out 🍟 you can never be 100% sure what something has been cooked in and the quantity of ingredients used- it’s all an educational guess. - ❎So would I recommend this sort of approach to someone who is looking to lose weight and have no clue about nutrition-the answer would have to be no. ❎Would I recommend this approach to someone looking to gain lean muscle and again, have little knowledge..again, no. - ✅FOR ME, I am at a stage where I want to experiment with how my body responds and how “in-tune” I am with myself using this approach. I am still looking to develop and grow my muscle mass, and I know that to do this I will need to be in a calorie surplus and have good quality protein on board, BUT I feel that I can achieve this without the added stress of physical calorie counting+weighing food and instead just be conscious of my food intake and food choices and continue to train hard as I do EVERY SESSION ✅

In the wild orangutan babies stay with their mothers for up to six years while they are taught the skills they need to survive in the forest, the most important of which is climbing. At @sepilokrehabilitationcentre 💜 a buddy system is used to replace a mother’s teaching. A younger ape will be paired up with an older one to help them to develop the skills they need.

At @sepilokrehabilitationcentre 💜 a buddy system is used to replace a mother’s teaching. A younger ape will be paired up with an older one to help them to develop the skills they need.
