Today was a go, go day for me! A day of lots to do and a long day!  I literally never got to go home and shower after working out, until 7 tonight. 
I  feel as a mom and wife, your job is never done! 
Do you feel that way?

There is always someone that needs you. There is always something to be done! 
As a mom and wife i give and give,  and for the post part it's never given back...cuz that's my job right?? So for me sometimes at night it is at least a quick cup of tea to give back to myself. 
You have to take time for yourself! 
You have to givr back to yourself!
You must recharge yourself!

Lunge / Squat Combo (2 forward lunges and 1 squat) - 15 reps

Superman Plank - 10 reps total
Lower option - knees
Harder option - toes 
Skaters - 20 reps total

Push Ups - 15 reps
Advanced option - on toes
Intermediate option - on knees 
Beginners option - on knees but with hands on an elevated surface (couch, coffee table etc)

Easy Burpee - 15 reps
Beginners option - step back and in

These 4 women are the same and yet oh so different.

One little decision three babies later drastically changed my life and I am forever grateful! 
I LOVE LOVE taking care of me and becoming the absolute best for my three minions and my man! 
I have found a plan that works, I eat real food, I work out 30 minutes a day and I still have a treat here and there.  I am also surrounded by 100’s of women working on themselves because we all want to be the best version of ourselves. Not doing it alone is a big part. We aren’t defined by a number or anything else for that matter but instead by a lifestyle that is workable for busy women, moms, workers, single moms, etc. Its a one size does fit all! AND I want to help you find this freedom because its right there for you - you just have to say “I am ready too!” “Enough is enough!” “I feel awful not anymore!” “What am I waiting for.” “Why not me!” “My family deserves to live well.” Let’s LIVE our BEST LIFE today!

Late post again because I’m a slacker 🤣! But I swear I did this last night! So I worked a long day yesterday 😴. I was tired. I was tired from studying, I was tired from just life lately and all the studying I’ve BEEN doing 😳. Yet, despite WANTING to not work out, I pushed past that feeling and got up and did my workout before bed. I can confidently say I was EXHAUSTED doing it so it probably wasn’t as good as it could have been, but regardless week 2 day 1 of @drench_fit ab challenge WAS completed! ☺️ Ready for day 2! 🙌🏻 @bgetsdrenched .

I love beets! They remind me of my dear grandmother. She used to make pickled beets and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned beets do not naturally taste like sugar. She must have used a few cups of sugar in her pickled beets 😉

#StretchRevolution Day 13: Rollovers.

Lie down on your mat and engage your core as you bring your knees up (as if you are doing a reverse crunch). As legs are over your body, bring your hands on the lower back, with triceps down on the mat for support. For a more intense stretch, extend the legs straight and bring the hands back down on either side of the body with palms pressed onto the mat. You can hover the legs or bring the toes down to touch the floor. Be sure to keep the spine elongated as much as possible. This is a great one for the lower back.

This is a pose that has always been a challenge for me. If you can’t get your toes to touch the floor, don’t get discouraged. It takes time and practice, but keep at it and you will get there! @blogilates @poppilatesofficial

I woke up early this morning and got my last WOD in before my IVF transfer today.
I am absolutely blown away by the response of my last post 🥰 I honestly didn’t think anyone would care so much just like me thinking most of you could careless of what workout I did for the day 🤣 Y’all are amazing and it feels good to have such a support system of friends and family!
These next 10 days of no sweat outlet will be the hardest part 😅 so it will be quiet over here unless Zane finally lets me take his pic again but last he told me only on his birthday 😒

I’m not sure I’ve ever done one of these but I felt now is a good time! I am 33 weeks pregnant with baby number two (bottom picture) and above I had JUST found out I was pregnant. .
I was finally feeling good about my body from my first pregnancy - a 42 lb gain left my body different than it was before. It took a while to accept but I finally had! 5 months into my postpartum journey .... to find out I was back into a prenatal journey.
.
While it was nerve wracking and exciting, I was determined to make this one different. I am now at a 22 lb gain (give or take a pound, I haven’t weighed since my last appointment two weeks ago) and feeling overall better than last time.
.
I’ve gone way off on my eating lately and I know it’s time to really reel it in for the end to manage the big weight gain of the final stretch. Here’s to finishing out this pregnancy healthy and to start a postpartum journey {for real} in about 7 weeks.

I love my bubble butt and the dimples that come along with it.  I love how my tummy still has a little jiggle and reminds me of the life I created there.  I love the lines around my eyes from smiling.  I spent 33 years abusing my body, telling it I hated it.  It’s never never too late to change the words we use to speak to the only one that’s there until the end....ourselves.  Start today,  name 3 things you love about yourself.  If you’re like me, it’s hard at first, but practice makes perfect ❤️

👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 On the left👉🏻not too long after i had Scarlett (took ALOT for me to share this pic!) to now👉🏻on the right! Two years later. Real results take TIME. I took a BIG chance on trying on this dress back then in hopes i could wear it to an upcoming occasion. 😬 Wishful thinking🤷🏻‍♀️ I realized i had a ways to go before I could comfortably and confidently wear it! And that was OK. I accepted it. I showed myself GRACE for a change because hello, pregnancy and child birth!🤰🏻👶🏼🤪 I didn’t dwell or feel down on myself, i just came up I with another outfit that i did feel good in! 
My body had just recently been thru a complete #transformation, of a different kind and i knew that feeling my best again was going to take TIME!! And let me tell you, my (then) 35 year old self had a completely changed mindset from what my 20 something year old self would have had!! In my 20’s, i would have let that dress not fitting or feeling good send me into a downward spiral of negative thoughts. 
See what being a mom, and what these programs and my accountability groups have taught me over the last few years is to be #grateful for and appreciate my body at every stage i’m at!! But to also work hard and show up for where I want to be and work towards how good want to feel. 💪🏻❤️✨ All while enjoying life and embracing #balance!! 💫

I got tired of the same ol bullshit getting a gym membership and going a few times a week. I would wonder around not really knowing what to do. This is an older picture but I love the symbolism in it. I took this pic probably two years ago of my oldest son, doing yoga ' like mommy and daddy' . WE are influencing him to be the man he is growing to be! The best way to teach someone a healthy lifestyle is to practice living a healthy lifestyle infront of them! Does that mean we don't have treats or bad days? Definitely not, we are human, and we have chocolate and popcorn nights, but we live by the moddo that we try to have everything in moderation!  And guess what? Two years later this little guy is still asking to work out with us ans still having dance parties in the kitchen while other kids watch tv.. So I figured I’d share a funny story based on my last post (refer to the most recent post).

So - until this day, I don’t actually remember the car accident except what people have told me/ what’s on the police report. I do remember glimpses here and there, kind of like small flashes. The last thing I remember was opening my eyes and looking up at bright lights with all the doctors and nurses wearing blue all around me and I remember the doctor saying, “Okay, I’m about to inject your head”... .
.
The next morning, the surgeon came in to check on me and asked with a smile if I remembered the last thing I said before I went down...(I had no clue).. he said, “You asked me if I can part your hair to the side before shaving it so the shaved bald spot won’t show” 😂😂💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️

That would be my main concern 🤣 but thank you doctor for listening! ❤️ haha so in the midst of all the craziness - we all had a good laugh! 😅 Appreciate the small things! Haha

Yesterday I sipped a latte out of a cute coffee mug and had a giant cinnamon roll for a mid-morning snack. Last night I had a beer with my steak and baked potato that had sour cream and cheese on top. What’s interesting is several years ago I would have stressed myself out over “not staying on track”. I would have had this big snowball effect and just let myself completely derail all because of a slip up.

I lived in food jail for too many years. I couldn’t stand my body and was constantly looking for new ways to get skinny quick 🤦🏼‍♀️ Happiness isn’t about getting SKINNY. It isn’t about doing something QUICK. It isn’t about complete deprivation until you dread the “diet” you’re on. I STILL was not happy restricting myself from certain foods!

So last spring I decided to try this 30 minute a day fitness program where it’s meal plan focused on the correct portions instead. I was no longer saying no to particular foods and no longer feeling guilty because of it. I formed a healthy relationship with food and have no interest of going back to fad diets and other crap that never worked!

Let’s just say that I lived my unhealthiest life 18-26! Mentally and physically! I remember thinking 💭 “girl you are not a fucken tree and you don’t have to stay here”!✨ you don’t have to wait, it’s not too late ! You can make sh*t happen, WHEN you set your mind to it ! & you can ultimately live a life you fully Honestly LOVE ! It’s all on the other side of hard work, of failing and picking yourself up over and over again- take a chance a boo boo! Geez did I have all the odds against me ! Look If this girl full of excuses and horrible habits can do it, So can you! #Whynotyou 💫

Oh gosh...today has been a DAY.

If I had to say “stop screaming” or “stop kicking the clean clothes off the bed” or “stop hurting your brother” or “close the freezer” one more time, I was going to go crazy 🤪

I just kept praying for patience because apparently I woke up with none, and then I listened to a coach tell us that she missed her first baby’s first steps because she was at work.  When she worked hard and brought herself home, she saw her second baby’s first steps and he walked right to her 😭😭😭

This has been my reality for 3 years so sometimes I lose my gratitude for it.  But the reality is, I have worked SO hard not to miss a single moment, which includes temper tantrums and open fridges and a messy house.

And I’m grateful for the reminder that I am now where I prayed so hard to be 💗
