Recipe - SWEET POTATO FRIES
- slice sweet potatoes Into French fry style
- add avocado oil, salt, pepper & mix
- bake in oven at 400 deg, for 1 hour

- 2 lbs of ground lamb in a bowl
- add 1 cup chopped yellow onions
- add 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- add 2 tbsp avocado oil
- add 1 tbsp salt
- add 1 tbsp black pepper
- add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- add 1 tsp garlic powder
- add 1 tsp turmeric powder
- add 1 tsp curry powder
- add 1 tbsp dried oregano
- mix together and make patties
- bake in oven at 400 deg for 20 mins

1. If you’re trying the GAIN weight/muscle, like me, eat your heavier meal later in the day. Eat 6 (3 the least) consistent healthy meals a day. Be mindful of your source of protein and exercise with weights. Try lifting and eating a grapefruit early in the day if you need to open up your appetite. 
2. If you’re trying to LOSE weight, your main priority should be conditioning your metabolism. Eat your heavier meal earlier in the day so it burns more. Building muscle burns calories longer than 1 hour of cardio. And DETOX, DETOX, DETOX! Not just by cleansing or consuming antioxidants but changing your eating habits. Try a breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner schedule ending at 8pm. The more familiar your body becomes with certain foods is the more your body will get rid of the things it no longer craves.
3. Everyone needs 30 minutes of vigorous to moderate physical activity per day. Eat smarter not less. Food is fuel, if you don’t eat, your body will preserve what it has to survive. That goes completely against your goal. 
4. Avoid salts and alcohol. Drink 1 gallon (about 8 16.9oz bottles) of water per day. 
5. Eating clean boosts your energy. So does 10 minutes of exercise first thing in the morning and starting your day with a gesture of success (Like throwing your fists it the air like Rocky)Try eating healthier and substituting coffee and sweets with green tea and fruit. 😉

I feel always so sick after drinking fresubin. Like drunk and I have the constant feeling that I have to throw up but MIND OVER BODY - I DON'T HAVE TO.

Has anyone advice for me because of these problems? I don't know what to do..I really need it and I am so willing to take all 24 bottles I have in 24 days but I don't want to go to bed every night with this sick feeling..I hate it.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish”

If you’ve watched my stories any, you know that I am currently in Round 2 of an 8 week health & fitness challenge.  The first round, I had pretty good results, but knew I could do better.  The first round I just coasted by.  Just did the minimum.  Didn’t really put my heart and soul into it and just went through the motions.

So, for round 2, I promised myself I would go all in.  And the main part of the challenge that I struggle with is the food.  The workouts can be tough too, don’t get me wrong, but I did not eat as well as I could have the first round.  I didn’t meal plan or prep accurately and I could tell.

.
Round 2, I increased the meal plan which means more food.  But more food means more energy, heavier weights, and hopefully MORE results.  Currently heading into week 4 and have made it a priority to meal plan and prep for all 4 weeks.  This is lunch and snack for the week.  I like to change dinner up to suite myself and my husband each night.  Breakfast is usually my superfoods shake with some extras! .

In order to meet and exceed my goals, I know I have to put in the work and PLAN for it.  I wish I could just snap my finger and get crazy good results, but it takes hard work, effort, and tons of planning to get the results and to meet those goals 💕 .

Whats your favourite protein source?
It’s recommend that an adult should have 0.8g-1.1g of protein per kilo of body weight... While meat and chicken is what the majority know are protein sources here are some other options that I also like… 80% of my diet is plant based and the 20% consists of whatever I feel like eating… So, if I feel like I haven’t had enough protein during the day I will have a protein shake with almond milk.

2. Eggs - 6g per Egg
3. Quinoa - 8g per cup cooked
4. Tofu - 8g
5. Edamane Beans - 11g

This week is going to be just as fantastic!
1) Because the food is awesome, that stir fry! 😍

Happy Sunday!! Today is meal prep Sunday! I don’t always meal prep, but I make sure to meal plan. I look up 5 recipes (usually from Pinterest) that I can make for dinner for the upcoming week and write down all of the ingredients.

Some tips ⬇️

🍁An easy frugal tip is to always shop your pantry, fridge, and freezer first. If you have a bunch of frozen chicken, maybe do more chicken recipes that week. It can be easier on your budget if you do this.

🍁 Leftover nights are great to do on days when you know you’ll be busy and might grab for a quick unhealthy convenience item. Or if your like me and stop by Taco Bell 🤷‍♀️ when you’re in a pinch.
.
🍁 Another frugal tip is to shop the weekly newspaper ads! There can be specials on different cuts of meat that week that you might want to stock up on and freeze for later.

I’m getting a little too brave here, I think. Partly cause my husband takes my pictures at really bad angles, so not only are my pictures taken right after my workouts, but just add that awesome angle to it. The other reason is...just wait til you get to the last picture of me in my tiniest swimsuit 😂
Anyways, that’s not the point of the post. I just finished my 3rd CSE challenge and I wanted to show the difference of trying to tone up and get in shape just by exercise. The last picture of me is 10 weeks after I had Van and started working out. The second picture is right before I started following CSE meal plans. And while I did lose just by exercising, there’s a big difference between those 2 pictures and this first picture. I got a lot more muscle definition and have been feeling so much better in general! 
Just a little motivation for those who think you can workout and just eat whatever you want. Cause I definitely used to be that person.

Something many of you have experienced or do experience regularly. That feeling when you’ve eaten something you have deemed “bad” and then completely give up because you think you have failed and go on to overeat 👀😬

One chocolate bar won’t do much, BUT if you allow yourself to get into this mindset you can easily consume 4000 calories + in one day. I don’t actually know any women who can eat this much food and not gain weight 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you eat something you think is “bad” enjoy it and then move on and make the next meal better, look at the nutrition label and see how many calories there are and work out what you have left in the day.

SUNDAY.... feeling poorly and today was all comfort food: breakfast of my new fave choc and banana protein milkshake with @pbfit.uk (5SP); lunch was 3 slices @ww.uk bread (2SP each) with a small amount of grated cheddar and spring onions/Worcester sauce plus 1SP tortilla chips: dinner was a fave chicken curry recipe from @gizzierskine which we cook loads.... only smartpoints are from chicken thighs (7SP for 2) which I think are worth it for the taste points in this one 😲- served with small portion rice, salad and cook at home poppadum (1SP) #cleaneating #mealplan #wwdinner #wwflex #wwmealplan #mywwflexdiary #slowandsteady

RP @change_begins_with_you Whats your favourite protein source? It’s recommend that an adult should have 0.8g-1.1g of protein per kilo of body weight... While meat and chicken is what the majority know are protein sources here are some other options that I also like… 80% of my diet is plant based and the 20% consists of whatever I feel like eating… So, if I feel like I haven’t had enough protein during the day I will have a protein shake with almond milk.  What are some of your favourite sources?? 1. Salmon - 23g 2. Eggs - 6g per Egg 3. Quinoa - 8g per cup cooked 4. Tofu - 8g 5. Edamane Beans - 11g 6. Greek Yogurt - 10g 7. Tuna - 23g  8. Lentils - 18g per cup cooked 9. I've been craving greek salads like CRAZY this pregnancy which is funny because I've never eaten them regularly before this. It only takes 20 minutes (or less) to chop up the veggies and throw these together. If greek isn't your jam, just load up on veggies and make some that do sound good to you. I promise you, this is one of the easiest ways to save time during the week AND have a healthy meal!

I’m halfway through my #66daychallenge for #notakeoutfordinner and while we are definitely spending a little less, I am now seeing the next #eatingout culprit: Lunch! .

This of course is not a surprise as my hubby is horrible about eating out for lunch. .

I have been thinking for a while, what is the #onething I can do every day that would make spending less on takeout easier?

Deciding what is for dinner is my one thing right now, but seeing that some of that spending is being transferred to late lunches out instead, I think my next one thing will be #mealplanning for lunch!

Help give me some ideas on what you guys do for #lunchathome. Here is what I have thought of so far:
• Sandwiches (this will be what we have for hubby’s #packedlunch at work, not so good for weekends and days off, too)
