Wieso ich eine Mohnschnecke poste und ich sogar täglich mind ein Teilchen verdrücke?! Weil ich es kann, ganz einfach. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Im Aufbau gönne ich mir sehr viel, weil das Leben zu kurz ist um dies nicht zu tun. Früher hab ich mich auch bur clean ernährt, komplett zuckerfrei. Heute frage ich mich, wieso ich mir das angetan habe? Ja klar zuviel Zucker ist ungesund, böser Zucker, davon bekommst du Diabetes und Akne. Ich baue mir meine Leckereien in meine Makros und achte darauf das meine Mikronährwerte abgedeckt sind und alles andere passt dann schon. 👌🏻🤷🏼‍♀️ Abgesehen davon könnte ich ab nächstes Jahr Sommer schon wieder zu kurz kommen was deutsche Leckereien angeht. Also muss das noch alles rein. 😂😂😂😂 Schultern wurden grade eben zerstört und nu geh ich meinen anderen Verpflichtungen nach. 😋

Rest or reps? 🤔 Rest days are essential when it comes to training. Even though it might feel like you’re not working towards your goals, your body changes outside of the gym, and for that it needs sufficient rest (and nutrition!!). 😴

How many days should you take off? It depends on a number of factors: your genetics, workout intensity and duration and overall fitness level. In the end you decide! But if you feel like your body needs a break, taking a day off won’t harm your progress. 🤗

Yep, you guessed it, it’s my rest day today 😜 but I’m going to make the most of it starting by learning something new at the #Google course I’m doing 🤓💪🏼 Happy Thursday! ❤️

It doesn’t take all that much effort to be healthy - you just have to be prepared and plan ahead. Sometimes that means meal prepping on Sundays or the night before, and sometimes (on the very rare occasion) it means throwing together something quick and easy 10 minutes before leaving the house 👀 (like today). Either way, I always like to have healthy lunches and snacks prepared to keep me fueled at work! 👊🏼. This is the reality of my work brunch most days lately - messy jars are the best ❤️ this was a banana, a peach, two dates, Alpro yogurt, cinnamon, chia seeds, and homemade spiced-chai granola! (Recipe in previous post). And I’ve just finished preparing overnight matcha-maca oats in the fridge for tomorrow’s lunch! Best part is it only took me around 5 minutes 🤗.

Sharing my struggles and truth on how I sometimes cope with my mental illness’s. I’m not proud, but this happens quite often and I’m trying to control it. But it’s hard once you leave one pain, you find another that helps the mental pain go away. I only cut my skin once and I still have the scar. I knew it wasn’t something I wanted to do. So I found different hurtful ways to control my anxiety. I don’t this about myself and it’s something I am working on. By sharing this, it helps because I know I’m not alone. 🙏🏼🌹.

Some vegans get annoyed when vegans are only given health options. But then they also get annoyed when we’re given unhealthy ones. The amount of people moaning that they’re not paying £4.50 for this much sugar and fat- don’t then🙄 I on the other hand, will. You get quite a lot in the box and who can resist something like this. LET'S TALK ABOUT WEIGHT GAIN ✨

So I've almost got to the end of my cut, and as you can see, I weight 3kg more than how I did at the end of my previous cut, last June

Over the summer, as I told you in my posts, I've been increasing my kcal intake. That allowed me to lift heavier in the gym, and put on muscle mass. I put on 6-7kg in total, including water, fat and muscles. Then I started a new cutting phase, to get rid of the extra fat and the result is... 3kg more on the scale, but pretty much the same body fat %

Am I worried? Absolutely not! I know that these 3kg are made of muscles, and I am so proud of them. I honestly love how I look in both pictures, but I'm not gonna lie, I prefer the right pic way more!! So don't be afraid of putting on some weight or even of putting on some fat, you will lose it eventually. But realize that muscles do weight!! And that if you wanna build your muscles and your shape, you have to embrace the fact that you may gain weight

Durante l'estate, come ho scritto in diversi post, ho aumentato il mio apporto di calorie. Questo mi ha permesso spingere di più in palestra e mettere su massa muscolare. Ho messo su 6-7 kg in totale, compresi acqua, grasso e muscoli. Poi ho iniziato una nuova fase di cut (definizione), per eliminare il grasso in eccesso e il risultato è ... 3 kg in più sulla bilancia, ma praticamente la stessa % di grasso

Sono preoccupata? Assolutamente no! So che questi 3 kg sono fatti di muscoli e sono super fiera dei miei progressi! Amo il mio corpo in entrambe le foto, ma ad essere sincera preferisco come sono ora !! Quindi non abbiate paura di aumentare di peso o addirittura di sporcarvi un pochino, se metterete grasso, poi lo potrete sempre togliere. Ma rendetevi conto che i muscoli pesano !! (COMMENTI 👇🏼)

#lowerbodyworkout . 👑Today was a success, not because it was perfect, but because I’m still here, still dedicated, still breathing, still believing that despite my challenges, I’m not a victim of my circumstances and I ruled my day rather than letting my day rule me. 💪🏼 Being a mom of a large family means constantly needing to roll with the punches and that’s what I did today. There’s a victory to be celebrated! 👊🏼👊🏼

Still keeping the load at 80% and adding in some extra activation/mobility exercises before & after my workout to continue healing my left hip/low back issue. 😍 Loved the new combos in this workout and almost all of it felt great (had some pain with the goblet squat/curtsy lunges, but I still love that combo 😍) I completed Circuits 1/2/3 ✅. Not bad for a late night workout 😉😎

RECIPE BELOW👇 Now that it's winter I feel like it's time to start cooking a load of soups and stews! This butterbean & vegetable soup was delicious!! (Serves 4)
Ingredients:
1 celery stick, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 leek, trimmed & sliced
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp chopped rosemary
600ml veggie stock
1 X 400g can chopped tomatoes
1 X 400g can butter beans, drained

Method:
Fry the celery, carrots, leek and paprika over a medium heat for 3-4 mins. Pour over the stock and tomatoes then add the butter beans and rosemary. Bring to the boil then cover and simmer for 15 mins.

RECIPE BELOW👇 had such a productive day today💃 Spent the morning cooking and meal prepping for the week, did some uni work then went to the gym! This vegan lentil, cauliflower and potato pie was one of the meals I cooked -
Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 leek, trimmed and sliced
2 celery sticks, sliced
600ml almond milk
175g puy lentils
750g potatoes, cut into chunks
1 medium cauliflower, cut into chunks
2 tbsp grainy mustard
2 tbsp dairy-free spread

Method:
Fry the onion, leek, carrots and celery for 5 mins. Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer. Add the lentils, cover and cook for 30 mins. Transfer to a pie dish. Boil the potatoes for 8 mins, add the cauliflower and cook for a further 10 mins. Drain then mash, adding the mustard and spread. Spoon the mash over the filling and bake for 45 mins at 190 degrees.

RECIPE BELOW👇 it's been so easy to enjoy healthy meals at uni as every time I cook something I have about 6 portions that I can freeze or eat throughout the week! This is a vegan red pepper and lentil stew -
Ingredients:
200g puy lentils, rinsed
3 peppers, chopped
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp cajun spice mix
1 X 400ml tin coconut milk
250ml veggie stock
3 tbsp tomato puree

Method:
Cook the lentils in boiling water for 20 mins. Meanwhile, fry the peppers, onion and garlic in a little oil. Add the spice, coconut milk, stock and tomato puree. Drain the lentils and add them to the pan. Cook for 15 mins.

1 tsp fresh ginger 
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup almond milk
110g @alpro plain yoghurt
2 chicken breasts, chopped into pieces

Method:
Heat some oil over medium heat and cook the onion and garlic. Add the spices, milk, yoghurt and tomatoes and simmer for 10 mins. Add the chicken and cook for 15 mins then serve with rice
