Something about ahi just makes me wanna be all extra with my plating! 😝 Tonight I got myself an ahi tuna steak for a quick and healthy mid-week “treat.” I made a chopped salad of cucumber, orange bell pepper, cherry tomatoes and a sun-gold kiwi, for a little tropical twist. Next, I seasoned everything with Clubhouse Signature Piri Piri, quite liberally, while I seared my tuna steak. To finish, I topped it all off with some roasted coconut for added crunch! 
It was really good for fast dinner with what an had on hand, I think I’ll add some avocado and lime juice next time! 🌶🐟🥒🥝 #summercooking

I really believe in counting calories. No matter what

I really believe in counting calories. No matter what "diet" you choose, you are becoming calorie deficit and hence the weight loss. I know nutritional content is important but when you are extremely obese, I don't think that is the problem. It's what i do. It has worked for me and i dont spend crazy money on products nor neglect myself of things that i want to eat. From flat AF to getting some shape ❤️🍑 not where I want to be but I’m working super hard and making progress. May —> today
Glutes don’t build over night. You must stay consistent even when you dont see the results. I know that’s hard.. trust me! I know! But trust the process. 
Also, if you can do just one thing to have your eating help your body goals: STOP EATING PROCESSED FOODS.  I haven’t been perfect with this by any means 🙈 but I would say I’ve cut out 90% of my daily junk. I feel better, my skin looks better, I sleep better.. everything is better. I promise! Give it a couple weeks and feel the rewards 👌🏻

There’s numerous ways a person can get in better shape, but there’s only so many that are absolutely necessary at the bare minimum. Here are those that you MUST follow at all costs.

🍝Portioned and consistent meals doesn’t mean the same portions of the same meals at the same time every day. It means eating appropriate amounts of food consistently over time for what works for your schedule. Some people fast entire days then eat. Just make the weekly amounts are about the same.

🥦Every color of vegetable has different micronutrients, phytonutrients, minerals, and antioxidants your body needs. Eat then at every meal, often, and don’t be afraid to mix and match!

🍗Protein at every meal cannot be stated enough. It is the one macronutrient that is most important for fat loss and muscle gain.

🏋️‍♀️You don’t need to exercise 3 hours a day 7 days a week, but 30-45 minutes 3-6 days per week is all it takes to maintain good-optimal health. This could be three 1 hour days or five 45 minute days, getting your body in movement is key.

It’s been a HOT minute! I’ve been off this Insta for a while decided to take a break and focus on myself and other things not fitness related. It is okay to take a break! Life goes fast and it’s really easy to get spun up in it. Remember that exercise and health is just one facet of life it should never be 💯 who you are. It’s good to step back and look at the big picture, examine yourself as a person, if you see something that lacks, it could be in your personality or relationships, other dreams and aspirations. Set time aside to take care of INSIDE you too not just the outside. In the end it’s the “inner person of the heart” that matters most to me and if I’m not healthy in those regards then I’m not really healthy at all. School will be starting soon for me and I won’t have much time to post on here as it is. I have to admit I miss posting workout videos and tips (will try and post at least one video a week). Getting into my fitness journey it really motivated me  when I got on insta and saw others post there workouts. I hope to do the same with my posts and inspire others to continue on there healthy lifestyle despite having a busy life or other obstacles. Because NO it’s not easy, even if it seems that way online. There’s struggles that we all go threw and we don’t always talk about that side. So let’s get positive and tackle our goals!

This prep has been one to remember. Been working my absolute ass off and have left nothing behind. I have endured, i have suffered, and I have never stopped fighting. When you truly love something, nothing will stop you. I eat my meals Bc I have to do that. I do my cardio when I’m already dying from just rolling out of bed because I have to do that. I train when I feel like trash, Bc I have to do that. My “motivation” is to be the greatest I can be, and just because I don’t “feel like” getting the job done at times does not mean I’m just gonna skip out on stuff and “do it another day” or go to Instagram and ask “Guys should I do this or that, what do you think”. I never need anyone else’s recognition to do the work, I’m not built like that.

Full day of mini cut eating ✂️🥦 I gotta say, this was a very satisfying day of eats! Those chocolate meals keep me sane 😄 anyways, regarding my mini cut - I hit another weird weight increase (this happened a few weeks ago too). Was weighing very consistent around 127lbs but have weighed around 128.5lbs the last few days 🙄 frustrating when this happens but just gotta keep up the consistency!! Now for those meals...

When you are hopeless about losing weight, I convince you it's possible, when you crib about food being boring, I give you new recipes of food that's both tasty and healthy, when you say cant walk or exercise, I say give it a try, when you wan want a low carb high protein diet, I say lets find balance in our basic food. Finding a way out is critical.After 2-4 weeks you start seeing results and start learning that you can do it too.
